Mid-Coast Sail & Power Squadron
Boating is Fun...We'll Show you How
The Mid-Coast Sail & Power Squadron is a private non-profit organization with members who have a common interest in boating (whether sail, power, kayak, or armchair), and is the Mid-Coast Maine representative within District 19 of the United States Power Squadrons® national organization. The Mid-Coast Squadron's geography includes the Penobscot and Muscongus Bays, roughly extending from the towns of Waldoboro on the south to Belfast on the North. Active membership in the Mid-Coast Sail & Power Squadron is open to anyone 16 years and older who has passed the Squadron Boating Course (or equivalent), and who is able and willing to contribute time, energy, and skills to the objectives of USPS®.

Educational Courses
Our squadron's education department is pleased to announce the following upcoming course schedule for squadron members. Please note carefully the location and starting date for any you are interested in and call or email SEO Brian Hebert in advance, so that we can arrange for suitably sized class rooms and order the proper number of course manuals. Some locations have additional registration requirements.
The start date of the classes will be posted when they are available. With some flexibility, Fall is defined as mid-September, October and November. Winter is January and February. Spring is March and April. This is a proposed schedule only and may be adjusted from time to time as necessary pending members' requests and will be updated and posted.

What We Do
The Mid-Coast Sail & Power Squadron promotes and supports our Boating Education courses and Community Service projects. To keep both of these afloat, we look to our Executive Committee for navigation and to our members to keep the Mid-Coast Sail & Power Squadron shipshape -- much of this through meetings, boating safety and education activities, and social gatherings.
